Job Description:
Clearfield Recruitment is seeking a skilled Slab Layer Groundworker for a project in Woodbridge. Our client requires an experienced professional to carry out finishing groundworks, with a focus on slab laying. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a solid background in groundworks, particularly in the finishing stages of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and level ground surfaces for slab laying.
Accurately lay slabs in accordance with project specifications.
Perform finishing groundworks, including edging, kerbing, and ensuring proper drainage.
Operate relevant machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
Work collaboratively with the site team to meet project deadlines.
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.

Requirements:

Proven experience in slab laying and finishing groundworks.
Competence in using groundworks tools and machinery.
Ability to interpret site plans and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Valid CSCS card.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
